Apple shares fall 1.8% ahead of Q4 earnings report
AAPL slipped 1.8% ahead of its Q4 earnings report, which is scheduled for today. Consensus calls for $113.46B of revenue and $2.00 EPS, with iPhone revenue at $56.48B (+15% YoY) and Services above $31.58B. Apple guided gross margin to 47–48%, down from 50.1% in the June quarter, attributing the drop to a '100-year flood on memory pricing,' and Bank of America warned this could push margins below Wall Street expectations. This is John Ternus's first earnings call as CEO, and since the iPhone Duo went on sale Oct. 23, after fiscal Q4 ended, management may only offer demand commentary. Separately, Apple agreed to a $250M settlement over Apple Intelligence marketing claims, with eligible iPhone 15/16 owners able to claim up to $95 through Dec. 21.

Rosen Law Firm reminded investors of a Dec. 1, 2026 lead-plaintiff deadline for a securities class action covering shares bought between May 19 and July 16, 2026.
