How our summaries are made
Everything Street Journal publishes about a stock is written by AI from public news. This page explains how and what we check.
Sources
News comes from newsapi.ai, a news aggregator that indexes articles from thousands of publishers. For each company we fetch up to 30 English-language articles published on the report day and the day before. Prices come from public market data.
The model
The summaries are written by a large language model. The model receives only the fetched articles. It is instructed to use nothing else, to skip articles that are not really about the company and not to give investment advice. It writes a headline and up to six short points per company. Daily and weekly reports are then composed from these summaries in the reader's language.
Source links
Every summary lists the articles it is based on, with links to the original publishers, so each point can be checked against its source.
Schedule
Summaries are written each night after the US market closes, Monday to Friday, and are ready by 07:00 the next morning. On Saturday a weekly recap covers the week that ended on Friday.
What we review
Summaries are published automatically. No one reads each summary before it goes out. We monitor every nightly run for failures, check the articles the model flags as off-topic, and adjust a company's news query when it pulls in unrelated stories.
Not investment advice
Everything on Street Journal is AI-generated from public news and market data, for information only. It may contain errors or omissions. It is not investment, financial, legal or tax advice.
